X-ray-guided vacuum biopsy (stereotaxy), ultrasound-guided punch biopsy, MRI-guided vacuum biopsy, fine needle aspiration.

Genetic counseling and testing

Only about 5-10% of all breast cancers are hereditary. In case of a family history of breast / ovarian cancer or specific breast cancers, genetic counseling may be useful.

Breast surgery and reconstruction

All types of breast surgery, removal of benign tumors. For breast cancer, breast-conserving surgery or mastectomy, prophylactic mastectomies for genetic mutations.

Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery for reconstruction of the breast after mastectomy or shape correction after large tissue removal. Reconstruction by implant insertion or own tissue (e.g. microvascular DIEP flapplasty). We work together with Swissparc.

Chemo- and antibody therapies, targeted therapies and immunotherapy

Classical chemotherapy directly attacks fast-growing cells with a high division rate. Antibody therapy targets specific features on the tumor cells. Targeted therapies specifically interfere with processes in the tumor cells. Drug immunotherapy leads to activation of the body's own immune system. It is often used in combination with chemotherapy.

Anti-hormone therapies

Estrogen-lowering therapies, e.g. with aromatase inhibitors or tamoxifen. Some tumors grow under the influence of hormones. Targeted lowering of these hormones can inhibit tumor growth.
